We decided to take a long weekend trip for Spring Break. Our first stop was to Auburn. We met with one of the sports information guys and he took us on a tour of the athletic complex, practice field, weight room. The boys loved it! It was cool to be on the same field as the players. Andrew and I had a race and he kicked field goals! Next we went to downtown Auburn and got some Toomer's Lemonade and there were some baby chicks in Wrapsody so Will and I stayed there for a while to pet them. We spent Sunday morning going to Auburn COC for Easter Sunday. The Easter Bunny even came to our hotel room! After church, we headed to Atlanta. We stayed at the Embassy Suites and had a room with a view of Sky Atlanta- a huge Ferris Wheel that neither of the boys wanted to go on. Will called it the "steering wheel". We were surprised to meet up with Uncle Tyler Sunday night for dinner and got to see his restaurant.
Monday, we went to the College Football Hall of Fame. Wow! What fun. We all played the interactive games and made radio calls. Andrew could have run the drills all afternoon, but we had to head out to Turner Field for a tour of the Braves Stadium. The final season in this stadium will begin in a few days. It was a fun weekend of family vacation. The boys had a great time!
